Wallester Named Best Embedded White-Label Payments Solution at the PayTech Awards 2026

Wallester has won the Best Embedded White-Label Payments Solution award at the PayTech Awards 2026, held on 25 June at the Honourable Artillery Company in London.

The PayTech Awards, organised by FinTech Futures, one of the payments and financial technology industry’s leading trade publications, recognises companies and solutions driving innovation across the global payments ecosystem. As usual, the annual ceremony brought together banks, fintechs, payment providers, and technology companies to pay tribute to the products propelling the financial services industry into the future.

This year’s recognition marks Wallester’s second consecutive success at the PayTech Awards.

In 2025, the company received the Best Spend Management System award for Wallester Business. But this time, the spotlight turned to Wallester White-Label, recognising its role in helping companies add financial features and branded card programmes to their products without the infrastructural and regulatory heavy lifting.

Recognising the Growth of Embedded Finance

Embedded finance has changed how digital businesses build products. Financial features are increasingly becoming part of software platforms, marketplaces, HR technology, lending products, loyalty programmes, and other digital services.

Wallester White-Label allows companies to launch branded Visa card programmes through a single API-first platform. Partners can issue physical and virtual cards, integrate payment functionality into their own applications, apply real-time spending controls, and provision cards instantly into Apple Pay and Google Pay. Wallester, for its part, handles issuing, payment processing, compliance, and the underlying regulatory framework.

The combination of these capabilities allows businesses to bring embedded financial products to market in weeks rather than months. More importantly, it allows them to focus on building their products and customer experience instead of infrastructure.

From Employee Benefits to Consumer Lending

Today, Wallester White-Label supports businesses across a growing range of industries as payments are becoming part of the product itself.

One example is Beneflo, a European HR technology company that uses the platform to replace traditional employee reimbursement processes with branded Visa cards linked to employee benefit budgets. Instead of paying first and waiting for reimbursement, employees can spend their allocated budgets directly while employers retain real-time control over spending policies.

Another is GF Money, a Nordic consumer lender that issues virtual Visa cards immediately after loan approval, allowing customers to access approved credit instantly instead of waiting for a bank transfer.

Different industries, different use cases, but the same conclusion: more companies are embedding financial capabilities directly into their own products to simplify customer journeys, reduce operational friction, and create new sources of value for their users.

Winning Best Embedded White-Label Payments Solution reflects that broader industry trend as much as Wallester’s own progress. Also, it marks the company’s second consecutive recognition at the PayTech Awards, underlining Wallester’s continued investment in payment technology across both spend management and embedded finance.

Wallester would like to thank the organisers and judging panel for the recognition, congratulate all of this year’s participants, and looks forward to returning to the PayTech Awards next year.
