Wallester at Money20/20: Innovation, Insight, and Great Memories

Money20/20 Europe isn’t just another industry conference; it’s where the future of finance takes shape. Bringing together thousands of fintech professionals, tech pioneers, regulators, and decision-makers, it’s the place where ideas turn into partnerships and innovation moves from theory to application.

For Wallester, showing up wasn’t enough. We came to show what’s next. We were there to demonstrate how Wallester is reshaping business payments in Europe and beyond, and we believe we nailed it.

The energy this year was electric. Conversations were sharper, use cases more specific, and the appetite for modern, flexible infrastructure stronger than ever. Hot topics like embedded finance, AI-driven compliance, and scalable cross-border payment solutions weren’t just buzzwords; they were real, evolving priorities. And Wallester was right in the thick of it.

We sent our biggest team ever, built our most impressive stand ever, and had an absolute blast doing it.

The Stand: Where Innovation Took Centre Stage

Our stand wasn’t just a booth; it was the heartbeat of everything we did over the three days. Designed to be open, dynamic, and unapologetically bold, it was a space for real conversations, live demos, shared laughs, and more than a few memorable moments.

Visitors came for coffee and stayed for the tech. From product walkthroughs to custom solutions, our team delivered value in every interaction. Whether you wanted to deep-dive into card issuance APIs or understand how to manage spend across multiple subsidiaries, we had you covered.

What stood out:

  • Design that sparked engagement: Sleek visuals, smart layout, and interactive elements designed to start conversations.
  • Live product demos: Instant card creation, real-time transaction insights, and platform deep-dives generated strong interest.
  • Audience feedback: Visitors were particularly excited about our speed-to-market, unlimited card issuance, and seamless onboarding process. And of course, they loved our content creation initiatives.
  • Merchandise that made an impact: Our merchandise ranged from the supremely useful to just plain fun. Having a variety of options means we made more people happy. And we were told by several people that we had the best chocolate at the event.

The Team: Faces Behind the Tech

This year, we brought the A-team – 26 Wallesterians from across the company, including both co-founders, Sergei Astafjev and Dmitri Logvinenko, on the stand from start to finish.

From product experts and marketing minds to client success leads and executive leadership, we built the perfect crew to answer any question and explore any opportunity. Our approach was clear: no silos, no hierarchy – just collaborative energy and on-the-ground expertise.

Why it mattered:
Visitors didn’t just meet sales reps. They met the people who build, shape, and deliver Wallester – live and unfiltered. That’s the kind of transparency fintech desperately needs.

Viral Moments: Pets & Pitches

Our stand was all about interaction and hooking people in a fun, creative way. We celebrated the event by launching Wallester Pets: a gamified experience celebrating the furry co-workers our visitors love. This allowed people to generate an expense report for their favourite pet and share it on social media. The response was amazing, and we literally had people queuing to take advantage of this opportunity.

We also invited visitors into our booth to create their own video business card that they could use after or during the event. We met some fantastic people brimming with enthusiasm, and the fact that we could help them produce something truly useful that resonated far beyond the conference made Wallester stand out from the crowd.

Why it worked:

  • It broke the ice.
  • It gave our team a more human face.
  • It created content and conversation beyond the product.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a Wallester booth without more merch than you can shake a stick at. We gave away (among loads of other stuff): 300 T-shirts, 200 thermo cups, 400 chocolate business cards, 20 umbrellas, 800 bracelets, 240 pairs of socks, 300 tote bags, 216 water bottles and 1 reMarkable Paper Pro to the winner of our Wallester Pets raffle.

The Estonian Pavilion: Powered by Innovation

As part of the official Estonian delegation, Wallester had the chance to showcase not just our company, but the ecosystem we’re proud to be part of.

Estonia continues to punch above its weight in fintech, driven by a unique combination of e-Residency, government-backed digital infrastructure, and a fast-moving regulatory environment. The Estonian Pavilion reflected this spirit of innovation, and we were proud to represent one of Europe’s most progressive tech nations.

Why it mattered for Wallester:
Being featured here wasn’t just about visibility; it was about alignment. Our ambitions match Estonia’s vision: global reach, digital-first execution, and rapid, responsible innovation.

The Quotes: What Our Team Had to Say

“Money20/20 is about showing up with substance, not just style. We had both this year, and the reaction from the crowd proved it.”Katre Gaychuck, Director of Marketing

“Ideas are great. Execution is better. The only way this works is when everyone’s locked in — smart, fast, calm, clear. That’s what I saw in our team. And that’s what made the difference.”Mike Sidorov, Chief Marketing Officer

“It was amazing to present Wallester to a live audience. The technology, speed and control we offer stops people in their tracks. Once they see it, they get it.”Andrei Zubovits, Head of Implementation

This year, interest turned into action. People didn’t just check us out — they leaned in. That tells us we’re building the right thing.Artur Lemming, Chief Operations Officer

“Meeting so many clients, partners, and prospects in one place? Invaluable. There’s no substitute for face-to-face energy.”Edouard Roca, Head of Sales

“There was real excitement about our affiliate program. The people we spoke to loved the variety of commission structures and product features and pricing. There’s no better way to validate what we are doing than taking it out into the field” — Anna Artemova, Head of Affiliates

During the exhibition we received a huge amount of feedback. From the most serious: you are growing so fast, such a confident line-up, С – level at the stand, to more cheerful: guys, there are so many of you this year, probably more only at the Visa stand.” — Ludmilla Nikitina, Country Manager, Latvia

Beyond the Booth

Money20/20 Europe 2025 was our biggest, boldest showing yet, and it only reinforced what we already know: Wallester is building the future of business payments.

A huge thank-you to everyone who stopped by, asked tough questions, shared feedback, or just grabbed a coffee and a pair of our famous Wallester socks. We appreciate every moment.

See you next year.
