We are glad to report that the Estonian Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA) has approved Wallester’s application and granted us a cross-border license. We are now legally registered as an Estonian payment institution that offers financial services to firms in EU and EEA member states.
Financial institutions that are allowed inside EU and EEA member states can use a passporting or cross-border license to provide financial services, perform payment transactions, and trade freely with minimum extra authorization.
Wallester has been granted permission to provide services and operate in Austria, Finland, Belgium, Bulgaria, Spain, Croatia, Denmark, Italy, Ireland, Iceland, Greece, Cyprus, Latvia, Norway, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Malta, Sweden, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, France, Romania, Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, and Hungary, in addition to Estonia.
Our mission has always been to change the financial sector and provide an accessible payment solution to a wide range of businesses since the beginning of Wallester. We are pleased to have received the Estonian FSA’s recent approval, indicating that we are well on our way to achieving our objectives.
